Interesting day

We had some artist from Carbondale, James Surls, come speak to the art classes. It was quite interesting, because I wasn't sure whether the guy knew what he was talking about or not, but it was conversational none the less. He was talking about the state of art students and how they feel like their work is never good enough, etc, etc. We've all been there. He said to just pretend like we're good enough and accept your gift for what it is and embrace it wholly. He also talked about voices in our heads and to listen to them... Quack? That is still to be determined... Anyway, I sketched him and some classmates
